Meet The Team

David qualified as a dentist in 1990 at Kings in London. In 1993, he obtained his first Masters degree from Dundee in restorative dentistry. He then spent several years at Leeds Dental Institute as a lecturer. David obtained his Fellowship in 2000, his second Masters in 2002 and qualified as a Specialist Orthodontist at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital and Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

Jon qualified as a dentist in 1990 from Sheffield University. After a year as a House Officer at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, Jon spent six years in general practice in Doncaster and Sheffield. Jon obtained his Fellowship in 1999, Masters in 2002 and qualified as a Specialist Orthodontist at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital and Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

Yvonne joined the practice in 2007. She was part of the first ever Orthodontic Therapy course completing her qualification in 2008 through Leeds University. She is one of the most senior Orthodontic Therapists in the country! Since qualifying Yvonne has worked at practices in Sheffield and at Chesterfield Royal Hospital and has a qualification in conscious sedation.

Debra joined the practice in 2009. She qualified as an Orthodontic Therapist in 2010 through Leeds University in 2015. Debs also has a qualification in conscious sedation and has worked in the Maxillofacial department at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

Alex qualified as an Orthodontic Therapist in 2023 through the Leeds Dental Institute. She joined the practice in 2025 as Business Manager and will also be busy in surgery seeing patients. Alex is also a trained Oral Health Educator and has her dental radiography qualification.
